"You want to WHAT?!" I feel my face redden as I narrow my eyes at the Duck questioning my decisions.
"I want to cook tonight. For everyone." The crew all exchanged looks around the breakfast table, and I rub the back of my head, a bit nervous. "I know it's a little odd, but I promise I'm not awful at cooking..."
"I'm not opposed at all, but I mean, what brought all this on?" Blair munches on some cocoa puffs and I lower my hand, gripping the hem of my dress.
"I guess after the other day, I realized how much I have to be thankful for." I smile, my embarrassment rising with each word. "I realized how much of a child I've been, also. I was walking around carrying nothing but pity for myself and blame on others, when if I really just spent less time focusing on my own problems, and more on the positive things in my life, I don't think I would've ever had that fiasco with the ivy on my keyblade." My mouth twitches. "I want to apologize, and to show you... all of you, how much you mean to me."
"You sound all grown up, Rea." Goofy laughs and I place a hand on my cheek to feel how hot my face was. If this was being grown up, its a pain to be one. Admitting feelings has never been my forte.
"My little Ray-ray," Blair coos as she rises from her chair, wrapping her arms around me. "I love you so much, of course you can make me dinner." She squeezes me tight, and for a moment I almost feel my lungs crushing as she whispers something in my ear. "But don't you fucking dare try to feed me anything with beans, or god so help me, I will snap your neck." She pecks my head before retrieving her bowl and placing it in the sink with a smile.
"Ha... So, is this okay with everyone... or?"
"Sounds good to me!" Sora smiles brightly at me.
"Anytime I don't have to cook is great!" Donald rises from his chair and I look to Goofy, who nods.
"I'll eat anything as long as it looks good!" I grin, also rising from my chair and placing my cereal bowl in the sink.
"Great! Later tonight, then!" My eyes move to the fridge where the ingredients I bought at Hollow Bastion lie. The new Rea was certainly something... I couldn't be happier.
"Port Royale awaits!"

Today has been a long day. Upon laying one eye on me, the sexy Captain Jack Sparrow held a sword to my throat and threatened my life for being "deceitful, a traitor, and a kindred wench". Sora had to explain to Jack more than anyone ever needed to know about me just to get him to lay off, and then this guy says I still owe him a bottle of rum to make up for my treachery. I was almost too scared to tell him I was too young to purchase alcohol.
"Just who exactly was that chap?" I will not take back the fact that I still think he's sexy, though.
"He's part of an Organization that's collecting hearts. First they release Heartless into different worlds. We defeat those Heartless. Then they get the hearts. We're never gonna stop 'em like this." Sora talks with Will, Jack, and Elizabeth on the main deck for a while, whilst I lean on the edge of the rails. This brought back some bad memories. I wonder how Cali is...
"What'cha thinking about?" Blair leans on the rail beside me and we stare out at the reflection of the moon on the water. Her pink hair lightly blows in the breeze and I cant but notice.
"Blair, does your mother have pink hair?" She turns to me, blinking twice, before looking back out at the sea.
"She did."
"She dyed it?" Blair sighs.
"No, she died." I'm an asshole.
"Oh.. Oh god, Blair, I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
"Nah, don't worry about it. You understand, anyways." I shut my mouth and give a small nod.
"Do you remember her?" Blair turns around and puts her back on the railing, staring up at the large ripped sails of the Pearl instead.
"A little bit. I remember her always coming home really late. I remember my dad always saving her a plate of food from dinner because he knew she'd always come back for the food." She gives a small smile at that part. "I can remember sitting up at night waiting for her, too. And when I heard the door open, I went running into her arms. I'd cry when she left, too, because it always felt like I had just gotten her back when she left again." She reaches up and tucks some of her hair behind her ear. "Her name was Reimei. I figured since her name meant 'dawn', I'd name my first child Akatsuki, for her." She smiles at me and I give her a small smile back. Blair was such a beautiful person, I find it hard to believe I ever used to not like her. "Do you remember your mother?"
"My biological mom... Her name was Chisaki. I don't really look like her, she was tall and slender. She had brown hair, it was so long, and I remember it was pretty wavy. I have her eyes, though." I close my eyes, thinking as far back as I can remember, unsure whether or not the memories I have are true or if I had simply made them up, but I do think of them often. "She used to take me on walks through town, and I remember one bridge by the mill in town had rails that I could just barely lean over to look down into the water." I chew the inside of my cheek for a moment, troubled for my lack of memory. "I remember causing her a lot of trouble, but her never getting mad. That's so odd to me, parents who don't get mad. I was such a brat, so spoiled back then... but they never got angry with me. Every night, my parents just tucked me into bed, sang me a lullaby, and left me be." I stare down into the dark waters. "I remember trying to keep every memory I did have in tact though. I remember the first day they didn't come home, I tried not to panic, but as the days moved on, I wanted to remember every laugh, every scent, anything that had to do with them because for some weird reason I thought that would help me find them." I feel my heart drop before I turn and join Blair looking up at the sky. "But you know what... I don't think I ever actually looked.." A moment of silence passes before I can't help myself, and I start to laugh. Blair recoils and stares at me like I'd gone insane. "I'm sorry, I just can't help it." I wipe a tear from my eye. "I don't remember ever really getting out to actually LOOK for them, just panicking behind the closed doors of my house." Blair stares for a moment before giving me a soft smile and placing a hand on my head.
"Sounds just like you, rayray." I push her hand off my head and stick out my lip.
"Don't treat me like a kid."
"Rea! Blair!" Sora calls from the bottom deck, waving. "We've come to port, time to go!" I smile and head down to meet him, and we exit from the Pearl,
"Aye, Wench!" I turn to Jack, assuming I was the wench of which he spoke. "Enjoy this one on me, I figure I owe ye' as much." He tosses a glass bottle to me and I raise an eyebrow. Rum, okay. He stumbles over to me, picking up some of my long silver hair and getting dangerously close to my face. I hear Blair coo in excitement, and the heat rushes to my cheeks. "If ye ever decide ye'd like to get away from all this, I'd happily take ye back on the Pearl. I think I prefer this form, however, Ray." My back pushes up against the rail of the ship as Jack leans in closer, and getting on my tiptoes is about all I can do except fall backwards into the water to avoid this stranger's lips. My short physique is my downfall, however, and his lips brush against my cheek and slide down my neck to my shoulder and arms before finally resting on the hand which he rises to meet his lips before giving me a curtsey and letting me leave his ship flustered, hot, bothered, and one bottle of rum richer.
"DAAAMNN!" Blair cat calls to me as I try everything in my power to steady out my blurry vision. Was I dizzy from that? How much older than me is he? "Careful Sora, looks like you've got some fierce competition!" I look up to my brunette boyfriend, who narrows his eyes at me.
"N-No! It's not like that!"
"Oh shut up, Rea, you're practically steaming, you're so hot and bothered!"
"I just don't know how to react to someone coming on so strong! Shut up, Blair!" I look at Sora worridly, and he smiles before letting out a laugh.
"I think it was worth it just for the look on our face! You seemed like you might pass out!" I shake my head, gripping onto the bottle tight.
"I'm just tired! It's been a long day, let's just get back to the ship!"

Rum bottle secure and in my dresser, I head into the kitchen to prepare for tonight's dinner. I still wasn't quite feeling right, but I'm sure some food will help this empty headed feeling. I open the fridge and pull the package of porkchops out. I pull a bag of white rice out of the box in the cabinet and place it in a pot of water, and put the porkchops on a pan in the over before taking a moment to sit down and drink some water. Sora appears in the doorframe before taking a seat next to me at the table.
"You alright? You're kinda pale." He reaches up and touches my forehead. "Hm. You don't feel hot."
"I'm fine, just a little tired. That reaper heartless got the best of me, today." I take another sip of water. "What was going on in the cockpit?"
"Oh, Chip and Dale were showing us some weird things showing up on the map. They're complete blurs, so we can't even tell if they're worlds right now, or just weird space matter." He shrugs "Then the king was asking to do a video conference with Donald and Goofy, so they banished me from the cockpit." Sora looks at me with a smile "So naturally, I have come to check on my girlfriend." He wraps his arms around me and nuzzles his face into my neck, sending shivers down my spine. "Hey," he whispers "Does it make you blush when I do it, too?" Sora gently brushes his lips on the skin of my neck and I feel my vision blur again.
"Anytime you touch me, I do." I close my eyes and rest my head on his for a moment before more footsteps come down the hall. Goofy and Donald take a seat at the table, giving each other glances before looking to Sora.
"Sora, uh. Would you mind going to get Blair, we have something important to discuss." Sora loses his smile and nods before retreating out of the kitchen. I look at the two, never seeing them so serious before. Donald clears his throat, "Rea, we just finished speaking with the king. Apparently, he's been digging deeper through Ansem's files and... well, how do I put this.." The timer goes off on the oven and I rise, slipping on some oven mitts and opening the oven door. Blair and Sora arrive back in the kitchen.
"What's up?" Blair takes a seat and I take the glass pan with the porkchops out of the oven.
"These are copies of the files he wants you two to take a look at..." Donald hands Blair the two folders and she gets a look of complete horror on her face.
"What is it?" I whisper, stepping closer. Her breathing has stopped as she holds up a small manilla folder to me, a simple name decorating the front.
"It's about your parents..." Goofy seems to choke on his words, I can feel my own heart stop as I stare at the small names written on the front, The names etched in my mind, in my memories.
Natsukage, Chisaki. Natsukage, Rui.
The sound of Sora's chair scraping against the floor, Blair calling my name, and a glass pan shattering on the floor were the last things I remember hearing.

I literally couldn't sleep because I could not stop thinking about writing this and now I'm just tired and ugh.
I feel like because of this chapter :iconmochacherry: might get what's going on just a liiiittle, since I'm kind of snagging an idea she created when she made her character's mom, but maybe she doesn't remember :o idk.
Either way, it's about to get real.

You know I remember somewhat alot about Blair's parents and then I don't at the same time. I just remembered the names off the back.

I liked the name you gave her mom. I think I might just use it for a nickname or something. I really still like her name Suri
